THIS INCREDIBLE NEW JOURNEY—from Kentucky to Tennessee to North Carolina—has it all! Start in Louisville, “handsome, underrated and undeniably cool,” says Lonely Planet and experience the big three: thoroughbreds, Bourbon and baseball. Visit Churchill Downs, tour the Kentucky Derby Museum and enjoy a walking tour of Old Louisville, followed by your choice of a visit to the Louisville Slugger Museum or the Frazier Kentucky History Museum at the start of the Bourbon Trail. Listed in National Geographic Traveler's "50 Best Places of a Lifetime," Kentucky's famed Bluegrass Region is next, and Lexington—Horse Capital of the World—is at its heart. In historic Berea we’ll experience the arts-and-crafts center of Kentucky before we travel through Daniel Boone National Forest. From our accommodations in the charming Smoky Mountain resort town of Gatlinburg we'll explore the Park and experience a tour and tasting at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Dstillery. From “arty” Asheville in the Blue Ridge Mountains, we'll visit the incredible Biltmore Estate, Winery and Gardens.
